Our Crown Jewel competition was yesterday. We got first runner up - I thought that it was our best show yet, possibly in the four years I've been there. At least from my perspective.

Hehe, had that weird song stuck in my head.
Crown Jewel was more fun than I expected; the weather helped. I felt that the show we marched was the best yet, but there's still more shows to come. Orlando, then FBA is around the corner.
Afterwards I waited for Matt's parents to be done so that they could take me home, and we ate snacks out of the chaperone's room. When I got home I had pizza. I was going to go back to Crown Jewel, but after I marched I was too tired. Matt and I are going to the movies in about ten minutes, though, to see the Corpse Bride.
Oh, I forgot to put my two cents in on Friday's game. Alumni coming was so cool. Julie sees me and goes, "Amanda!...Jen Rice!" Some things never get old. And I got to see all the people that graduated last year, as well as some old(er) faces I didn't recognize; old drum-majors and band members. That was fun. I'm tired. Glad I have no homework, otherwise I would be sacked.
