Went to Halloween Horror Nights last night. 6 pm to 2 am, oh yes. My first time, but everyone said that I did well, considering the houses.
Alyssa, Kristen, Greg, Matt and I went together. Expect to see the T-Shirts tomorrow. ;P
We went in all the houses, but in order we went to A Nightmare on Elm Street: Dreamwalkers (Freddy Krueger), Dead Silence: The Curse of Mary Shaw, Vampyr: Blood Bath (rave much?), Friday the 13th: Camp Blood (Jason Voorhees), The Thing: Assimilation (really gross movie), The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Flesh Wounds (Leatherface), Psychoscareapy: Home for the Holidays, and Jack's Funhouse in Clown-o-Vision. We went to Friday the 13th twice, the second time after Jack's Funhouse.
All the houses were really cool. I know the scareactors did the best they could with hiding - and some, like the ones in Vampyr, did a really good job - but the majority of them you could see before they popped out at you. I wasn't as scared as some of the others in the houses, but I did think Dead Silence had the most scare factor of all the houses. The Thing house wasn't nearly as bad as the movie - the movie was just really, really gross. And most of the actors that jumped out in that house were good guys that snuck up behind you, telling you to leave. I thought Jack's Funhouse and the chainsaw massacre house were the coolest, and Psychoscareapy had the best decoration effects. But both Psychoscareapy and Jack's Funhouse I thought were the least scary. But Kristen and Alyssa might not agree. xD
The scarezones were cool too. But as the night went on, they were less surprising. Most of the people by 2 am didn't flinch at the chainsaw men or clowns at all. Got a picture with Jack the clown. His hands were around my neck and Alyssas. ><
I think I'm going to be a puppet for Halloween, inspiration from Dead Silence. I told Kristen she should face her fear and be a clown, but she refused.
